Hope, Love, and Dream, Inc. provides a trauma informed and resilient community for clients and their families. Our trauma informed and resilient community will provide individual, couple, family, substance use, and group therapy services.

Our Individual, Couple, and Family Therapy services will provide tailored services specific to each individual which includes:

Mental Health Assessment Cognitive Behavioral Therapy – is a short-term, goal-oriented psychotherapy treatment that takes a hands-on, practical approach to problem-solving. Its goal is to change patterns of thinking or behavior that are behind people’s difficulties, and so change the way they feel.

Psycho-educational Therapy – an intervention with systematic, structured, and didactic knowledge transfer for an illness and its treatment, integrating emotional and motivational aspects to enable patients to cope with the illness and to improve its treatment adherence and efficacy.

Various Systemic Based Therapy Approaches that could be used for your services include but not limited to.

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) -A practical, goal-driven model, a hallmark of SFBT is its emphasis on clear, concise, realistic goal negotiations.

Gottman Therapy – Gottman Method Couples Therapy are to disarm conflicting verbal communication, increase intimacy, respect, and affection, remove barriers that create a feeling of stagnancy in conflicting situations, and create a heightened sense of empathy and understanding within the context of the relationship.

Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) – is a therapeutic approach based on the premise that emotions are key to identity. According to EFT, emotions are also a guide for individual choice and decision making.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) – is an interactive psychotherapy technique used to relieve psychological stress. It is an effective treatment for trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) – A type of cognitive behavioral therapy. Its main goals are to teach people how to live in the moment, cope healthily with stress, regulate emotions, and improve relationships with others.

Structural Family Therapy – is a treatment that addresses patterns of interaction that create problems within families.

Narrative Therapy – is a method of therapy that separates a person from their problem. It encourages people to rely on their own skills to minimize problems that exist in their lives. Throughout life, personal experiences become personal stories.

Each of these therapy theories will be used to tailor your therapeutic experience specific to your needs and will be infused with trauma therapy approaches to decrease the potential of a client becoming re-traumatized.

Substance Abuse

Matrix Model Information –  a treatment approach that is administered over the course of a structured, 16-week period. Used most often with people who are addicted to stimulants, the program is highly structured and is largely made up of group therapy sessions
